HABITATS

Habitats are a type of environment where plants and animals live.

Each habitat type should cater to the needs of its associated animal life so each organism can complete its life-cycle. Climate and geography influence the plant and animal life within habitats; try to match habitat types with your regional climate, and only then, consider the distinct microclimates within your garden.

We've decided on habitat titles that gardeners can match to their conditions rather than to those that describe where a plant grows in the wild.
