DESERT

SUMMER RAINFALL REGION

DESERT: Namib Desert region is a harsh environment challenging to the creation of gardens. Unpredictable rainfall usually less than 100mm/ annum with little to no frost, high winds and intense sunlight. Plants are drought-adapted.

Southwestern portion gets winter rain with more Succulent Karoo vegetation rather than desert.
