Description
The Bush lily grows up to 500 mm in height, in large colonies under the partial shade of the forest and coastal bush. The inflorescence has approximately 30 flowers, and it is the only species that is trumpet-shaped, with a flared mouth. A yellow variety, C. miniata var. citrina, has creamy yellow flowers and is rare in the wild. The Bush lily forms large clumps with shiny, deep green leaves, grows in dappled shade and prefers humus rich, well-drained soils in frost free areas. Water well during the summer
