Description

Gorgeous white to mauve large flower heads cover the mostly leafless bush through winter. Separate male and female flowering plants – male plants are a little more compact. Flowering from June to August. Leaves are large, furry, bright green and fragrant; these make for a bright, textured backdrop in spring and summer before leaves turn yellow and fall in autumn. Fast-growing up to 3 m with a rather rambling habit. Prune back hard after flowering. Grows on river banks, forest margins, dry wooded valleys and hillsides. Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga
